The biggest crime committed during the new Bond movie was that he never drove his custom DBS. The moment I saw the new Aston Martin for the first time on the big screen, I almost had to change my pants. If I ever get to sit down in a DBS, let alone drive this car, I'll be sure to bring a change of clothes.

The original Aston Martin DBS was produced as a GT car during 1967-72, and it was also not the first DBS to be seen in a Bond film. In the 1969 007 movie, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the first DBS was brought onto the big screen. Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez summarized the philosophy that was the driving force behind the conception of the new Bond car in the Press Release, explaining that “The DBS is not of the understated elegance of a DB9, nor the youthful agility of the V8 Vantage. It is explosive power in a black tie and has its own unique character which will equal that of James Bond". The DBS is pretty much a better looking and faster version of the DBRS9. It comes packed with a 6.0L V12 that will easily put down more than 500HP. Aside from that heavy V12, a lot of the car will be made out of carbon fiber, making it much lighter than the DB9. Rumor has it that only 300 units will be produced, costing about $250,000 USD.
