I hope that all my previous articles have helped you get a good sense of your own personal style. If you haven’t, then don’t worry: you may be saved right now. Dressing well has to do with many key components within the make-up of the complete outfit. So if you haven’t found your style yet, it is just a matter of time. Dressing well makes you feel good about how you look and thus what you are. After you’ve established your own style, you can add accessories and experiment some more. The right new fall colors and new accessories might just funk up your outfit and reinvent a new look!

By now you have been out and about all summer and hitting the gym in order to feel good in all the fashionable clothes you have been wearing. Just remember that during winter gyms don’t close down, so keep it up all year round. If you’re a sports guy and not a gym guy, then move to an indoor sport or be a bold guy and take up a hard core winter sport. The can be fun! Whatever you decide to do is fine, but stay in shape.

Summer has slowly come to an end and fall is right around the corner. So if you are still wearing that yellow tee shirt, milk every day out of it and remember that you might have to put it away for safe keeping for the fall and winter seasons. With fall comes a new season with some new colors and style suggestions. Let’s begin with some new basic fall colors and styles that will catch the ladies’ eyes. The basics such as black, brown, and white are always good. In this fall season the style is to definitely not be boring and explore your color pallet. Mixing colors while still applying the washes and treatments right now is the big thing among designers. One of the most common designs that you may see in stores this fall is the baseball long sleeve shirt with a “Freddy Kruger” style pattern. This is the baseball shirt we have all worn during little league at some point or another, but definitely with a different twist. This shirt is now being reinvented using tattoo styles on the arms and not just a solid color pattern. Remember that simple thick horizontal line that Freddy would wear every day? Well, I think he’s finally made an impact. Designers are taking the simple pattern, changing the fabrics and colors, and basically washing the crap out of it, thus making the shirt look more vintage and making you feel great when you wear it! The color choice for both of these designs has been very transitional, thus in the olive or brown direction. What a great way to move into the fall feeling! If you want your basic black or white, that is out there too in this new style with the addition of a bit of funk. Even though Freddy was the original inspiration for the shirt, don’t look like him and wear the red and black. It would be a fashion nightmare! Both of these shirt styles can be found by numerous designers in the stores or online. If you are a casual guy with a casual job, then you can look good everyday of the week in these new designs!

Some of you may be sitting there thinking that the only time you’ll get to wear these funky outfits is on a weekend or casual Friday at the office. If that is the case, let’s spice up your everyday outfit to work with some new tips. First, let’s stay away from that basic white shirt that you wear with your tie almost every day. I know that you may think that there may not be many options, but you will be surprised once you move into the realm of more colors and patterns. Look outside the world of JC Penny and you will be much happier and sexier looking! If you wear a suit to work, then I think that we have already established in previous articles which suits are funky and cool looking. So let’s explore the regular button-up shirt and dress pants. I know we have discussed shirts before and if you haven’t gotten any new ones yet, please hit up the stores. Some great colors to try wearing with those charcoal or black pants would be deep or light pink, purple, olive, or blue. Here, it’s all about the fabric. The funkier, the better!

Ralph Lauren Black Label makes a great fitting shirt. It is snug and stylish. They also carry a French cuff shirt. There are definitely more French cuff shirts out in the stores lately. You can bring the concept of color schemes into the wearing of the French cuff without a suit. Just add a pair of simple or funky cufflinks and you have a great outfit for work that you won’t be so bored with. Kenneth Cole and Joseph Abboud are just two of the many designers that make a great selection of cufflinks.

This fall, take a leap out of the ordinary colors and fabrics and spice up your wardrobe. Move into patterns or new colors like pinks and blues. Pink is actually one of the most stylish colors around if worn correctly. Anyone that says pink isn’t manly just isn’t a man himself. The key to all of these new and exciting colors is to not go overboard. The new long sleeve tees and new style French cuff shirts combined with new color schemes will spice up your early fall wardrobe and keep you looking fresh!
