Brighten Up Your Underwear ChoicesMay 25th, 2008
Summer is here and it's time to inject a bit of color into your underwear drawer!
Taking a walk through the men's underwear department just isn't what it used to be. Today's stores offer many choices in men's underwear; there are many different styles and brands to choose from. By now you should have a pretty good idea of what kind of style you like to present yourself in. Now it's time to add a bit of color into your underwear drawer! Women aren't the only ones that can wear a new color each day and feel more confident and sexy. Now men can have that option!Let's begin with boxers. These days, there are so many fun colors and designs of boxers to choose from. Calvin Klein is a great designer for men's underwear. They don't have the largest selection of boxers specifically, but the ones they do have are very comfortable and fit great. There is one specific style I would suggest by Calvin Klein, the "boxer matrix". This style comes in a variety of patterns. It has a comfortable logo-ed waist band and the body is made from a one hundred percent pre-washed super soft cotton. The next boxer I will suggest is the Burberry "men's boxer." This boxer is a classic style with the covered elastic waistband and cotton Burberry pattern. The pattern comes in three different colors: classic coffee, white/black and light blue. The last boxer I will suggest out of the many great styles and brands is the Derek Rose "Tesimo boxer." This is a great striped boxer. It is bight and colorful and the cotton is great. This boxer does have the added feature of two buttons on the elastic waist to secure it closed or make it a bit tighter. All of these boxers are great choices that you can add into your collection.
Now let's move on to trunks. Trunks are rather new in the underwear market. They are tight cotton underwear that is shorter than a boxer brief. They are only about one to three inches long below your crotch. Let's begin with a great solid trunk, the Calvin Klein "pro stretch trunk." This classic black tight cotton trunk has recently been updated with a bright blue elastic logo-ed waist band. It's a classic cut with a touch of bright blue! Next is the Dolce and Gabanna "army boxer." Even though D&G refer to this as a boxer, it falls into the category of a trunk. This is a camouflage pattern cotton trunk with an elastic Dolce and Gabanna waist. This is a tight and form fitting trunk that says “fashion forward.†The last pair of trunks to consider is the Boss Orange X "boxer brief" (they refer to it as a boxer brief, but it is a trunk). This style comes in a great green and blue color. It has a grey and white elastic band across the waist with the Boss logo on it. This is a great fitting funky pair that will spice up your underwear drawer!
Last but not least are the good old fashioned briefs. If you are addicted to your tighty whiteys, it's time to let another color enter the selection in your underwear drawer. 2 Xist makes a great selection of briefs in a variety of colors. Their "varsity" style, which is a basic brief, comes in seven different colors: black, white, yellow, red, blue, green, and light blue. This is a cotton mix fabric which has a stretch to it so that it can not only fit closely to your body but breathe well as well. This is an all around great basic brief that has many colors to choose from. The next brief is the Burberry "checkered brief." This style only comes in one color. This is the classic Burberry pattern on a black brief with a logo elastic band around the waist. The last brand I will suggest is the Boss Orange X "Brasil briefs." Just like that brand's trunks, these briefs come in a bright blue. In addition to this, the "Brasil brief" has a sexy cut that will spice up your life! Again, just like the others it is cotton with a bit of stretch and has a logo on the waist band.
Now that we have gone through them all, you can get started on brightening up your underwear choices. All of these brands offer numerous styles with many color and pattern choices that will take you away from your everyday boring white underwear. Underwear is still an article of clothing, so keep it fresh just like you update your tee shirts and jeans!
